Role Overview :
We are looking for a seasoned DevOps Engineer to join our high-growth engineering team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be the backbone of our infrastructure, ensuring that our complex distributed systems remain resilient, scalable, and highly available.
You will work closely with cross-functional product and development teams to bridge the gap between code and production, streamlining our deployment pipelines and optimizing cloud resource utilization. Your work will directly impact the end-user experience by minimizing downtime and accelerating the delivery of new features, ultimately driving our business growth and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate software delivery, ensuring rapid and error-free releases for our global client base.
- Manage and scale containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to ensure high availability and efficient resource orchestration across our cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement secure, high-performance API and WebSocket integrations to support real-time data streaming and seamless communication between microservices.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Ansible, reducing manual overhead and ensuring consistency across development, staging, and production environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AWS cloud resources to maintain optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency for our mission-critical applications.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing cloud-native architectures on AWS, with a deep understanding of VPCs, IAM, and load balancing to ensure secure and scalable deployments.
- Proven ability to script and automate operational tasks using Python, enabling the team to move faster and reduce technical debt.
- Strong proficiency in version control workflows using Git, ensuring clean code management and seamless collaboration within large engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders, fostering a culture of transparency and collaboration.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Bangalore, balancing independent ownership of projects with team-oriented goals.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining production-grade DevOps ecosystems.
