Network Delivery Lead - Global Connectivity & Security Services

Role Purpose

The Network Delivery Lead is responsible for the global delivery, operational excellence, governance, and continuous improvement of Signify's Network and Network Security services.

This role leads a globally distributed team operating across regional hubs and is accountable for the reliability, availability, security, performance, and lifecycle management of network services supporting all Signify sites, users and business applications.

• Secure Service Edge (SSE)
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG)
• Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)
• Firewall Services
• Remote Access Services
• DNS, DHCP & IPAM (DDI)
• Network Access Control (NAC)
• Cisco ISE, TACACS and RADIUS
• CDN and WAF Services
• Network Monitoring & Observability Platforms

The Network Delivery Lead serves as the senior operational authority for network services globally, driving service strategy, service transformation, supplier governance, operational excellence, and alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity standards. The role also has end-to-end accountability for WAN and SD-WAN services delivered through strategic partners and managed service providers.

Key Accountabilities

Global Service Leadership

• Lead the global Network Delivery organization supporting across the globe.
• Execute the service roadmap for network and network security services.
• Establish global operating standards, governance, and service delivery processes.
• Ensure network services remain secure, resilient, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.
• Deliver services through a global follow-the-sun support model across regional hubs.

Team Leadership & Organizational Development

• Build and lead a high-performing global network delivery team.
• Manage regional technical specialists and technical leads.
• Define organizational structure, roles, responsibilities, and capability development plans.
• Coach and mentor technical specialists and future leaders.
• Drive technical excellence, accountability, and customer focus across the organization.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational ownership.

Provide operational leadership and delivery ownership for:

• Firewall platforms

Connectivity Services

• Global WAN and SD-WAN services
• Internet connectivity
• Third-party connectivity
• Site-to-site connectivity

These responsibilities align with the Network Service operating model that includes LAN/Wireless, Firewall Management, WAN Connectivity, Secure Web Gateways, ZTNA, Remote Access, DDI, and Core Infrastructure Services.

WAN & SD-WAN Service Ownership

• Own the global WAN and SD-WAN service strategy and operational delivery.
• Ensure reliable, secure, and highly available connectivity between all Signify offices, factories, distribution centers, cloud platforms, and external partners.
• Govern SD-WAN architecture, routing policies, path selection, segmentation, and resiliency.
• Drive optimization of bandwidth utilization, network performance, and user experience.
• Define connectivity standards and architecture guidelines in cooperation with enterprise architecture and security teams.
• Ensure seamless integration between WAN, LAN, Cloudflare, Secure Web Gateway, ZTNA, and security services.
• Oversee life-cycle management and modernization of WAN infrastructure.

Supplier & Service Provider Management

• Act as the primary operational owner for externally delivered WAN and connectivity services.
• Establish strong governance with service providers and strategic partners.
• Lead operational reviews, service management reviews, and executive governance meetings.
• Monitor supplier compliance against contractual SLAs, KPIs, and service commitments.
• Drive supplier accountability and service improvement initiatives.
• Lead escalations for major incidents and chronic service issues.
• Support sourcing, procurement, contract renewals, and vendor selection activities.
• Ensure suppliers comply with Signify security, audit, and compliance requirements.

Service Transformation & Continuous Improvement

• Lead initiatives to modernize network services and operating models.
• Drive automation and self-service capabilities where appropriate.
• Improve operational efficiency, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
• Standardize processes, tooling, monitoring, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for simplification, consolidation, and cost optimization.
• Support introduction of new technologies including Cloudflare, ZTNA, SSE, and Secure Access solutions.

Major Incident & Change Management

• Provide leadership during critical incidents affecting business operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional recovery efforts.
• Ensure proactive problem management and root-cause elimination.
• Govern high-risk infrastructure changes.
• Improve operational resilience and change success rates.

Security, Risk & Compliance

• Ensure network services operate according to enterprise security standards.
• Work closely with Cyber Security teams to mitigate risk.
• Support audits and compliance assessments.
• Ensure secure design and implementation of network solutions.
• Drive adoption of Zero Trust principles and security best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise networking.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience managing global infrastructure or networking teams.
• Proven experience managing enterprise LAN, WAN, Wireless and Security platforms.
• Proven experience managing global WAN and SD-WAN environments.
• Experience managing outsourced network services and strategic suppliers.
• Experience supporting highly distributed multinational organizations.
• Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITIL).
