About the Role
Understand the Numbers. Improve How They Come Together.
A recurring reconciliation issue. A monthly report held together by manual adjustments. Data that takes longer to prepare than to understand.
If you naturally start tracing the cause and imagining a better approach, this role offers room to put that thinking to work.
You’ll take ownership of key financial reports across overseas entities and group brands, combining accounting judgment with technical skills to improve how financial data is collected, validated, and used. Alongside regular reporting, you’ll drive practical improvements from the first question through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own reporting from source to explanation. Prepare and consolidate management reports, cost allocation schedules, and variance analyses, ensuring accurate, timely, and traceable results.
- Resolve complexity across entities. Investigate accounting and intercompany discrepancies, working with relevant teams to address root causes.
- Streamline recurring work. Map reporting and accounting workflows, identify bottlenecks, and redesign steps to reduce manual effort and recurring errors.
- Build practical technical solutions. Develop reusable reporting tools, automated data preparation, and validation checks that make month-end work more reliable.
- Turn requirements into improvements. Work with finance and system stakeholders on process and reporting enhancements, from defining requirements and testing through to rollout.
- Make improvements last. Document solutions, share knowledge, and assess whether changes deliver meaningful gains in accuracy, turnaround time, and usability.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations, including hands-on process improvement or automation work.
- Strong accounting fundamentals and experience independently delivering management reporting and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills and practical experience using tools such as Power Query, SQL, Python, VBA, or equivalent technologies to solve finance problems.
- The ability to work with data from multiple sources, understand ERP reporting structures, and build appropriate reconciliation and validation controls.
- Critical thinking: you distinguish symptoms from causes, evaluate alternatives, and balance efficiency with accuracy and control.
- The ability to translate finance needs into clear requirements, explain technical solutions to colleagues, and carry improvements through to adoption.
- Working proficiency in English for documentation and collaboration with overseas stakeholders.
What We Offer
- A collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Opportunities for professional growth and development.
- The chance to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organization.
- Room to Think. Something to Build.
You’ll work closely with your manager to shape reporting and improvement priorities, with space to challenge assumptions, test ideas, and build solutions colleagues can rely on.
Bring your experience, your questions, and your willingness to rethink a familiar problem. We’re interested in what we can make work better together.
