I2X Technologies is seeking a Data Visualization Test Engineer to support ongoing activities for a customer at Scott AFB, IL. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.
Position Overview
We are seeking a senior Test Engineer with strong experience testing data visualization and ELK (Elastic) environments supporting DISA's GSM-O II program. The engineer will validate data ingestion, processing, integrations, and Kibana dashboards in AWS while working closely with developers, product owners, and Agile teams.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of software testing experience
- 3+ years working with the ELK Stack
- Elasticsearch
- Logstash
- Kibana
- Kafka
- Experience testing Kibana dashboards and data visualizations
- Integration, regression, verification/validation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Writing test plans, test cases, acceptance criteria, and test reports
- Experience with:
- Jira
- Confluence
- Git
- Elasticsearch APIs
- Agile/Scrum experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience working with big data or distributed systems
Qualifications
Nice to Have
- AWS Cloud experience
- DevOps/DevSecOps (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code)
- Test automation (JUnit, Ansible)
- Xray Test Management
- Network routing or infrastructure knowledge
- AWS Certifications
Education
Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years of relevant experience (or Master's with 6-10 years).
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who has spent significant time testing ELK-based applications, validating Kibana dashboards and visualizations, and collaborating directly with developers and stakeholders in an Agile environment. Experience with AWS-hosted data platforms and complex integration testing is highly desirable.
