Role: Technical Lead

Location: Bengaluru

What you’ll do

As a Technical Lead in our technology department, you’ll have the chance to:

• 7+ years’ experience developing with an Object-Oriented Language (Java, C++ )

• Excellent understanding of algorithms & data structures

• Good knowledge of the Linux environment

• Hands on expertise working with any one of UI technologies such as Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS

• Hands on expertise working with SQL like MySQL, Postgres
• Hands-on expertise with NoSQL databases, such as HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB and good understanding of column based datastore like Redshift

• Hands on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

• Experience working on CI/CD pipelines

• Experience having worked on Big Data technologies and Distributed systems is a plus

Who are your stakeholders?

• The platform enables Data Scientists and Analysts to ingest, process, and analyze vast amounts of data effectively, leading to optimised models and insights

• With API first and data as a product approach, the product also has all the other capabilities as its customer base

• The platform is also leveraged quite extensively for all be-spoke market needs and hence local products also are stakeholders for Data Management platform

What you’ll bring

• Product Development experience using Java and experience in Microservices architecture

• Hands on expertise working in any one of the UI technologies such as Javascript, jQuery, AngularJS, ReactJS

• Hands on expertise building multi-tier web applications, experience working on all layers of the stack is a plus

• Hands on expertise working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Hands on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure

• Hands on experience building scalable services

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

As a Technical Lead you will work on Data which is at the core of all programmatic decision-making. At MiQ we have our own interoperable and unified data platform that covers all aspects of data management from ingestion to processing to cataloguing. As a Technical Lead you will work in a platform that enables Data Scientists and Analysts to ingest, process, and analyze vast amounts of data effectively, leading to optimised models and insights. You will work to bring the best-in-class platform that enables ease of data management with the right governance practises embedded in it. With stringent data security measures and ensuring compliance with regulations, engineers protect sensitive information and maintain customer trust. You will act as a pivot along with product who with their interactions with users and stakeholders, build the platform to accommodate business growth. As a lead you will continuously aspire to build and manage Data Platform with focus on scalability, future-proofing the data systems inline with changing programmatic trends.
