Senior Account Executive (German Speaking Market)

Your role

As a Senior Account Executive for the DACH market, reporting to our Team Lead - Account Executive, you will lead the dedicated market area and target clients, acting as a brand ambassador online and offline. You'll lead and own the entire sales process, combining a hunter mentality to acquire new business with a farmer mindset to nurture and expand existing accounts. Your strategic insights will be vital as you shape the direction of IAMIP's market strategy, ensuring growth and positioning in the region.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy and execution of sales initiatives in the DACH region
• Drive demand and generate leads according to defined KPIs
• Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals, with a focus on both new business and existing account growth
• Act as a brand ambassador, promoting IAMIP's value proposition
• Provide a great and relevant experience by prioritizing the needs and desires of potential and existing clients
• Track activities and progress in CRM (Salesforce)

Your profile

Essential

• Native / mother-tongue German

Nice to have

• Fluent English
• 4+ years of B2B sales experience in SaaS
• Proven experience handling complex sales cycles, including both new business development and account management
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
• Experience working with R&D, engineering, or technology clients
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, with an active outreach approach
• High activity level, including cold calling, emails, and outreach
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical mindset
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities
• Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, or Industrial Engineering
