SEO LEAD

Role Overview

We are seeking a data-driven and technically proficient SEO Leadto improve the organic visibility and performance of our global websites. This role will be responsible for executing technical SEO initiatives, supporting on-page optimisation, and driving off-page growth through strategic link-building activities.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of technical SEO, website architecture, and search engine best practices, with experience working alongside developers and content teams to implement SEO recommendations that drive measurable business results.

Specific Assignments / Tasks of the Position

• Conduct regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve crawl, indexing, rendering, and site performance issues.
• Optimise website architecture, internal linking, URL structures, redirects, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags.
• Monitor Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile usability, structured data, and overall website health.
• Work closely with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations and ensure SEO best practices are followed during website updates.
• Perform keyword research to identify content opportunities and support organic growth across global markets.
• Optimise on-page SEO elements including metadata, headings, schema markup, image optimisation, and internal linking.
• Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic, crawl errors, and search performance using industry-leading SEO tools.
• Develop and execute white-hat link-building strategies to improve domain authority and organic rankings.
• Identify and build relationships with relevant publishers, affiliates, and industry websites to secure high-quality backlinks.
• Conduct backlink audits and monitor website authority, referring domains, and competitor backlink profiles.
• Collaborate with content, product, and regional marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into new content and campaigns.
• Prepare regular SEO performance reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates, emerging SEO trends, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2-4 years' experience in an SEO role, preferably within financial services, technology, SaaS, or agency environments.
• Strong understanding of technical SEO, search engine crawling, indexing, and website architecture.
• Experience conducting technical SEO audits and implementing recommendations.
• Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, or similar platforms.
• Experience with link-building, digital PR, outreach campaigns, and backlink analysis.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and their impact on SEO (coding experience is advantageous but not essential).
• Familiarity with schema markup, structured data, Core Web Vitals, and page speed optimisation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret SEO performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with developers, designers, and content teams.
