About the Role: iCareManager is seeking a Senior DevOps & Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to work alongside our technical lead team. In this role, you will take direct ownership of building, scaling, and securing our core cloud systems, CI/CD automated deployment pipelines, and environment observability. We are upgrading our engineering capabilities and require an experienced practitioner who thrives on execution, high system reliability, modern containerization, and proactive system administration. Key Responsibilities & Core KPIs: 1. Infrastructure & Release Management: Scalable Architecture: Build, automate, and maintain secure, resilient, and compliant cloud infrastructure (Azure). Optimization & Monitoring: Implement resource optimization strategies to maximize performance while optimising cloud costs. Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans, automated backups, and failover measures to minimize system downtime. Software Releases: Coordinate with development teams to plan, execute, and document zero-downtime software releases with change management compliance. 2. Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Pipeline Automation: Design, maintain, and upgrade end-to-end CI/CD pipelines across all development and staging environments. Automated Security & Testing: Integrate automated security scanning, testing workflows, and code quality analysis tools into the SDLC. Version Control Standards: Manage repository version control systems and enforce branching/merging best practices across development teams. 3. Containers & Kubernetes Orchestration: Container Management: Package and manage microservices using Docker containers. Kubernetes Operations: Orchestrate, scale, and maintain production Kubernetes (AKS) clusters, managing pod scaling, ingress routing, and service availability. 4. Security, Monitoring & Observability: Security Enforcement: Implement strict cloud security policies, role-based access control (RBAC), regular vulnerability assessments, and compliance audits. Observability & Alerting: Configure health monitoring systems, implement automated incident alerts, and perform root-cause analysis (RCA) on system anomalies. 5. Technical Innovation & Collaboration: Continuous Growth: Research, test, and implement at least one innovative tool or framework quarterly to optimize operations. Cross-Functional Support: Partner with developers and cloud service providers to streamline infrastructure delivery and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, and Infrastructure Administration. Core Technical Stack: Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Security & Reliability: Proven background in disaster recovery planning, cloud security policies, and code scanning integration. Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Ansible). Work Style: 100% hands-on operational mindset, high responsiveness, and strong analytical troubleshooting skills.
