Join ICON, a pioneering company in the construction technology industry. As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing visualization and planning tools to streamline the residential construction process. You will lead the implementation of key front-end software technologies in the BuildOS product, a digital construction software platform being developed from the ground up. This position is based in Austin, TX, and offers the opportunity to grow the technical competencies of the entire organization through education and mentorship.

Missions

  • Lead the implementation of key front-end software technologies in the BuildOS product, a digital construction software platform.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy reusable web-based components and libraries for use throughout a suite of applications within the BuildOS platform.
  • Serve as a trusted expert in the technical aspects of business-critical problem areas and industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Profil recherché

- Node.js and TypeScript experience

- Experience developing web-based front end applications

- 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering

- 4+ years of experience shipping production software and leading software projects”

- BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience

- React, Redux, and RxJs experience

- Experience as a technical leader at a startup

- Experience working with a Component library

- Experience working with a UX Design System

- PostgreSQL, GraphQL, DynamoDB experience

- Experience working with REST APIs

- Modern CI/CD workflows: GitHub, Jenkins, Travis, etc

- Flutter, React Native, or Android experience
