Join ID.me, a leading digital identity verification platform, as a Staff Software Engineer in our Commerce & Loyalty team. In this full-stack role, you will focus on enhancing the ID.me Shop experience, which includes cashback, affiliate offers, merchant discounts, and loyalty programs. You will work closely with Design and Product teams to translate concepts into member-centered web UI, and you will set engineering standards for the team's codebase. Missions
- Concevoir et mettre en œuvre des surfaces frontales pour l'expérience Shop, en utilisant React, Next.js et TypeScript.
- Construire et étendre les services backend et les API pour prendre en charge de nouvelles fonctionnalités frontales.
- Collaborer étroitement avec l'équipe de conception et de produit pour transformer les concepts en expériences utilisateur fonctionnelles.
Profil recherché
- Working proficiency in a backend language for building and maintaining REST services- AI-native engineering practices - comfortable using AI tooling (e.g., code generation, test coverage, documentation) to accelerate development
- Strong grasp of accessibility standards and browser behavior
- Proven collaboration with design on system-level UI
- Experience with UI component libraries or design systems
- Familiarity with design tokens, theming, and scalable CSS (custom properties, shared stylesheets)
- Hands-on experience shipping native Web Components in production (Custom Elements, templates, Shadow DOM, slots, events)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong frontend engineering experience (typically 5+ years)
- Solid production experience with React (and Next.js) - required for adoption, not only for wrappers
- Deep expertise in vanilla JavaScript, HTML, and the DOM
- Full stack ownership experience, from frontend UI through backend services and APIs
- Experience with micro-frontend architectures or contributing to a shared internal design system
- Familiarity with identity, benefits, or credential-based access concepts
- Experience with affiliate network integrations or e-commerce/marketplace platforms
- Experience with ID.me's commerce/marketplace stack and shared internal design systems
- Experience building personalization, recommendation, offer-ranking, or loyalty/cashback UI
