Role Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for driving software and AI project delivery through structured planning, effective resource utilization, and consistent coordination across teams.
The role requires ownership of project outcomes, strong stakeholder relationships, and the ability to maintain visibility across timelines, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of project execution and delivery, ensuring alignment between project goals, timelines, and team priorities.
- Coordinate with engineering, product, business, and client teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Organize and drive sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives using Agile/Scrum practices.
- Maintain visibility into project progress, dependencies, risks, resource requirements, and delivery commitments.
- Identify potential bottlenecks and work with relevant teams to address issues before they affect delivery.
- Plan resource allocation and capacity to support project requirements and priorities.
- Track project budgets and resource utilization to support efficient execution.
- Prepare project dashboards, status reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain project tracking and documentation using Jira, MS Project, Trello, or similar tools.
- Establish effective project governance and strengthen delivery tracking across assigned projects.
- Improve team coordination, communication, and project execution processes.
- Explore AI tools and modern practices to support project planning and execution.
- Mentor team members and encourage ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience:
- 7 - 12 years of overall experience, including at least 6 years of hands-on project management experience.
- Experience managing enterprise-grade software projects from initiation through delivery.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development life cycles.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools, particularly Jira.
- Ability to manage project resources, dependencies, risks, timelines, and budgets.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams and managing client and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Interest in AI and emerging technologies, with a willingness to adopt AI tools in project management.
