Sr. Production Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Ensure 99.99% uptime for critical platforms and applications through high availability and proactive monitoring.
• Develop, deploy, and continuously improve system monitoring and automation for platforms and applications.
• Maintain a strong security posture by safeguarding platform components and continuously monitoring for vulnerabilities.
• Conduct detailed root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents and drive end-to-end technical resolution.
• Lead timely service restoration and eliminate recurring service-impacting issues.
• Collaborate with product and support teams to plan and execute production releases.
• Maintain, monitor, and support the bank's application suite.
• Lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives and production engineering projects.
• Enhance production monitoring capabilities and build technical depth within the team.
• Define and implement improvements to increase application and system reliability and performance.
• Support multiple complex systems and applications with concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.
• Act as a technical liaison between operations, engineering, and architecture teams, providing operational insights for upcoming implementations and strategies.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Drive strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making across production engineering functions.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to understand business needs and integrate solutions across platforms.
• Lead intelligent automation initiatives to improve efficiency across people, processes, and systems.
• Develop plans for timely application of support packages and patches.
• Forecast utilization patterns and recommend upgrades or modifications.
• Perform capacity planning and availability analysis across platforms and environments.
• Recommend enhancements to improve system availability, reliability, and performance.
• Define and implement continuous monitoring procedures aligned with standard protocols.
• Lead and inspire teams to achieve business objectives and foster a culture of ownership and collaboration.
• Demonstrate strong crisis management and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Apply advanced data analysis and mining techniques to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Graduation: Bachelor's degree in Science (B. Sc. ), Technology (B. Tech), Computer Applications (BCA), Commerce (B. Com), or Business Administration (BBA).
• Post-Graduation: MBA or PGDM preferred.
• 18+ years of experience in production engineering, application support, or technology operations, with significant exposure to high-availability systems.
