Overview of the role

The Brand Designer will take ownership of the day-to-day creative execution of the IFX brand.

You will work closely with the wider Marketing team and stakeholders across the business to translate commercial and marketing objectives into high-quality, consistent and engaging creative.

Sitting within Marketing, this role will focus on brand and marketing design, with ownership across campaigns, communications, digital marketing, events, sales collateral and corporate materials. It is distinct from our Product Design function, which is focused on UX/UI and the design of our digital products and platform. You will work closely with the Head of Design and Product team where brand and product intersect, ensuring a consistent visual experience across IFX.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong design craft with commercial thinking. You will play a key role in embedding our new brand identity across the business and ensuring it is applied consistently as IFX grows.

Key Responsibilities

Brand ownership

  • Act as the internal guardian of the IFX visual identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing and corporate materials.
  • Help implement and evolve the new IFX brand following its launch.
  • Develop templates, design systems and guidelines that enable teams to use the brand effectively.
  • Maintain a high standard of creative execution across every customer and stakeholder touchpoint.

Marketing & campaign design

  • Develop creative concepts and assets for integrated marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels.
  • Design content for paid and organic social, digital advertising, email campaigns and other marketing activity.
  • Work with the Marketing team to turn campaign ideas and propositions into compelling visual creative.
  • Support the development of thought leadership, reports, case studies and other content-led campaigns.

Sales & corporate collateral

  • Design and maintain product and sector one-pagers, brochures, presentations and sales enablement materials.
  • Develop and manage PowerPoint and document templates for use across the business.
  • Support teams with high-value presentations, pitches and other external-facing materials.

Digital

  • Create digital assets for the IFX website and landing pages
  • Work alongside Marketing, digital specialists and web developers to ensure the website reflects the quality of the brand.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Design and Product team where brand and product experiences intersect, maintaining consistency while respecting the distinction between brand design and UX/UI.
  • Bring a strong understanding of digital-first design, responsive layouts and user experience.

Events & experiences

  • Develop creative for IFX events, conferences, sponsorships and client experiences.
  • Design event identities, invitations, signage, exhibition stands, banners and supporting collateral.
  • Ensure IFX has a distinctive and consistent presence at external events.

Creative operations

  • Manage multiple design requests and priorities across the business while maintaining quality and deadlines.
  • Manage relationships with external creative suppliers, printers and production partners where required.
  • Build and maintain an organised library of approved brand assets and templates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and quality of IFX’s creative output.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • Significant experience in brand, graphic or integrated design, either in-house or within a creative agency.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating brand-led design across digital and physical channels.
  • Excellent typography, layout and visual communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
  • Strong PowerPoint design capabilities.
  • Experience translating brand guidelines into effective day-to-day creative.
  • Experience designing for digital campaigns, websites, social media, events and print.
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence working within a regulated or corporate environment.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders while maintaining a consistently high creative standard.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to challenge briefs where there is an opportunity to improve the creative output.
  • Experience within fintech, financial services, technology or another B2B environment would be beneficial, but is not essential.
  • A true team player with a winning mentality and strong work ethic committed to continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Adaptable, tenacious and flexible who is able to perform under pressure.
