Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Regional Head of BD & Partnerships to drive the growth of Igloo’s embedded insurance business through strategic partnerships with leading digital platforms and consumer ecosystems.

You will be responsible for identifying, developing and scaling B2B2C partnerships, embedding relevant insurance solutions into partners’ products and customer journeys while driving sustainable commercial growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Own and drive the commercial strategy, pipeline development and revenue growth for Igloo’s B2B2C embedded insurance business in Southeast Asia
• Identify and secure strategic partnerships across e-commerce, FinTech, banking, telecommunications, mobility, travel and other digital ecosystems
• Lead end-to-end partnership development, from opportunity identification and pitching to commercial structuring, negotiation, implementation and scale-up
• Build strong relationships and engage with senior decision-makers across prospective and existing strategic partners
• Understand partners’ business models and customer journeys to identify relevant embedded insurance opportunities
• Leverage Igloo’s product portfolio to develop protection propositions that create value for partners and their customers
• Structure sustainable commercial models including revenue-sharing, commission and transaction-based models
• Partner closely with Insurance, Product, Technology and Operations teams to develop and launch embedded insurance propositions
• Grow existing partnerships through additional products, customer segments, channels and markets
• Use partner and market insights to identify opportunities to improve adoption, conversion and commercial performance

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, B2B2C Sales or Digital Distribution within Insurtech, FinTech, insurance, digital platforms or other high-growth technology businesses
• Proven track record of originating, negotiating, launching and scaling significant strategic partnerships
• Strong understanding of digital ecosystems, B2B2C business models and partnership-led distribution
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in partnership economics, deal structuring and negotiation
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
• Strategic thinker with a strong bias towards action and execution
• Entrepreneurial, self-driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, multi-market environment
• Strong analytical, presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent Ability to communicate & work across levels in SEA
