Ignite Energy Access is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated, and disciplined Customer Finance Zonal Team Lead with a strong passion for recovery, stakeholder management, entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and financial inclusion.

This is a key role within the Customer Finance Department of a fast-paced start-up at the forefront of renewable energy and mobile payment technology. The position requires working with minimal supervision, locating hard-to-reach customers, interacting directly with customers, and, when necessary, deactivating non-paying customers while maintaining a good customer experience.

• Meet or exceed all quantitative and qualitative targets set by the Customer Finance Department for bounce-backs, reactivations, and repossessions.
• Keep the write-off value within the acceptable threshold defined by the Customer Finance Department.
• Develop a scalable credit portfolio maintenance and recovery process for the region.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews and training with the Customer Finance representative team in the region to improve performance.
• Manage the integration of repayment payments across the respective regions.

• Recruit and retain collection agents to drive achievement of the set targets.
• Conduct credit-related activities.
