IKEA is the global home furnishing brand founded in Sweden in 1943, and its main website is operated by Inter IKEA Systems, the worldwide IKEA franchisor based in Delft in the Netherlands. The wider Inter IKEA Group develops the product range and runs purchasing, supply and manufacturing operations, including IKEA Industry factories in Poland and Portugal, while franchisees such as Ingka Group operate IKEA stores worldwide. Its openings span production workers, forklift operators, maintenance and PLC technicians, design and embedded software engineers, business developers at purchasing offices, transport planners, finance staff and store co-workers.

We are on a journey to transform our digital capabilities, bringing core business processes, people, data, and technology together-enabling IKEA to become an even better home furnishing retailer in the future. This journey requires passionate people who embrace change, dare to question, and want to make a difference. If that sounds like you, come and join us. Together, we can achieve great things.

You will report to the Operations Development Manager and be part of leading and develop how we operate IKEA across process, capability and product management. Together, we set a common direction and create the conditions for strong digital product management across Inter IKEA, enabling digital products to deliver business value in a consistent, effective and scalable way.

We believe that your presence with the team and working the majority of the time in the workplace is important.

As Product Management Manager, you will lead the digital product management capability across Inter IKEA. This means helping people, processes, data and technology work together in a simple, consistent and scalable way. You will enable the implementation of the digital product management framework across operations organizations in core businesses and Operations management, while helping teams create value through strong ways of working.

You will play an important part in connecting people and capabilities across the value chain. By setting direction, building common methods and making them easy to use, you will help strengthen digital product management and support better and faster business outcomes for the many people.

On a typical working day, you will:

  • Lead and develop product management across Inter IKEA through cross-functional alignment and collaboration across the value chain.
  • Secure efficient and common ways of working through clear frameworks, methods, roles, competence development and performance measurements.
  • Update ways of working and methods, and make them accessible through the common framework for the Operating model.
  • Connect with related capabilities and networks to make sure ways of working are aligned and fit for purpose in different contexts.
  • Lead the competence hub within Operations Management
  • Coordinate and collaborate across connected capabilities and core businesses to manage dependencies and create value together.

The role as Product Management Manager requires you to bring strong experience in digital product management, together with the ability to lead through others, create alignment and make the complex simple.

We believe you have:

  • Deep knowledge and experience in digital product management, including working with agile methodologies.
  • Proven leadership experience from leading digital development teams in close collaboration with the business.
  • Experience of working with competence development for product management, agile coaching or agile delivery.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across functions and organisations.
  • Experience of defining frameworks, methods, standards and practices, and driving adoption in a large and complex organisation.
  • A values-led leadership approach, with the ability to engage, empower and develop people and teams.
  • Experience with Product management frameworks and ways of working
  • An understanding of how Business Process Management, Business Capabilities, and Product Management work together to shape and continuously improve how IKEA operates.
  • Experience of working with competence development for product management, agile coaching or agile delivery.

It’s a plus if you also bring:

  • A strong desire to collaborate and be better together.
  • Energy for both the big picture and the details.
  • Curiosity and a learning mindset, with a drive to simplify and improve.
  • The confidence to take the lead while inviting contributions and shared ownership.
  • Persistence, a positive attitude and the ability to create clarity in an uncertain environment.
  • You are motivated by being better together, simplifying ways of working and helping others grow. You enjoy transforming the big picture into something understandable and useful, and you are energised by creating impact through people, teams and networks.

We look forward to receiving your application by 20th of November at the latest. We encourage you to apply as soon as possible. If you have any questions about the role or the recruitment process, or if you have a special need that requires accommodation in the recruitment process, feel free to contact the Recruiter Jas Garcha ([email protected]).

We always recruit based on values, competence, potential and diversity.
