About the Role :
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Platform / Full-Stack Engineer to join a small, highly capable engineering team building and operating a regulated fintech platform. This is a broad engineering role. You will work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, internal applications, integrations, databases, automation and production systems. We are specifically looking for a versatile engineer who enjoys solving problems across the technology stack rather than remaining within a narrow specialization.

Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain backend services
- Build internal operational and administrative applications
- Integrate third-party systems and APIs
- Develop operational and reconciliation tools
- Maintain cloud infrastructure
- Improve CI/CD pipelines
- Automate deployment and operational processes
- Build monitoring and alerting
- Maintain centralized logging and observability
- Support database performance and reliability
- Implement secure secrets and configuration management
- Build automated tests
- Investigate production incidents
- Improve system resilience
- Participate in architecture and code reviews

Experience with financial systems is strongly preferred.
Platform Mindset :
You should be comfortable investigating problems across the entire system. For example, you should be comfortable tracing a transaction across APIs, logs, databases, queues and external integrations to determine exactly what happened.
DevOps Responsibility :
We do not operate a separate large DevOps department. Engineering owns production. You will therefore work closely with the CTO to ensure reliable deployments, production monitoring, automated alerts, database backups, disaster recovery, infrastructure security, high availability, and production observability.
The Type of Engineer We Want :
We value breadth, ownership and engineering judgment. You might work on a backend API today, improve the deployment pipeline tomorrow and build an operational reconciliation tool the following day. You should enjoy that environment. We are deliberately building a small team of senior engineers with substantial ownership rather than a large organization with narrowly defined roles.
