• Coordinate consolidation of departmental budgets and strategic financial plans submitted by the Finance Business Partners into one integrated site financial plan.
• Analyse forecast movements against budget, prior forecasts and actual performance and identify the operational, volume, cost and timing assumptions driving material changes.
• Maintain forward visibility of financial risks, opportunities and sensitivities and prepare scenario analysis to support management intervention and decision-making.
• Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual site management reports, performance packs, forecast papers and other approved financial submissions.
• Lead the Capital Projects Associate in consolidating departmental capital plans, approved budgets, commitments, expenditure, forecasts and projected final costs.
• Develop financial models, scenarios and sensitivities that support site-wide planning, resource allocation and management decisions.
• Resolve inconsistencies between actual results, departmental submissions, planning models and management reports before information is released to governance forums.
• Promoting and adhering to Illovo's procedures, policies and guidelines, including, without limitation, those relating to SHERQ, Competitive Law and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC).

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• a recognised professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CA or an equivalent accounting qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in management accounting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting or commercial finance.
• Demonstrated experience consolidating budgets, forecasts, strategic plans and management reports across multiple departments or cost portfolios.
