Specific to the role
We are looking for a Team Assistant to join our London office, working alongside our Executive Assistants who support the General Partners and our Chief of Staff. You will be a real "go to" person for the office, taking care of tasks big and small.
This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the London office and supporting our team, working closely with our Executive Assistants to deliver excellent administrative, travel and event support across the business. The London office is our global headquarters, and you will be expected to be in the office 4 days a week.

Reports to: Chief of Staff
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Working Pattern: Office-based 4 days a week, with some flexibility to work from home at
other times on request. Full-time position, hours worked Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

What to expect in the role:
Key Responsibilities
Team Support
- Liaise with our Executive Assistants to develop, operate and maintain administrative processes.
- Assist our Executive Assistants across London, New York and Singapore with ad hoc projects and tasks.
- Support our Chief of Staff with ideas and initiatives to help the business grow.
- Support our Head of Community and Events Assistant with Illuminate events, both on the ground and in the office as required. This may involve venue sourcing for global events, pre and post-event setup support; CRM and list hygiene and updating databases.
- Ad hoc support for our Investment team, including helping with travel and some administrative support to our Finance team as required.
Office Management
- Help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the London office - greeting clients and visitors, arranging catering, handling incoming calls, ordering stationery and managing meeting room bookings.
- Help create a welcoming and inspiring office environment, ensuring office-related projects and tasks have a clear owner and run smoothly day-to-day.
- Support the consistent application of company policies and onboarding, working with our HR Business Partner and Chief of Staff.
- Track, monitor and action office health and safety and legal obligations.
- Work closely with the Chief of Staff and Finance team to help keep the office budget on track.
- Support office maintenance, facilities and IT-related equipment coordination, working with the relevant teammates and Chief of Staff.
- Help keep London staff updated with internal office communications.
Team Events & Culture
- Working with our UK EAs on team birthday and anniversary recognition and other team engagement initiatives.
- Help our Events Assistant arrange team socials and breakfasts
- Help maintain the culture and energy within the team through socials and initiatives, taking a hands-on approach as part of a small, growing team.
- Embody, shape & contribute to our team culture & values.
What does success look like?
In your first few months, you will have built strong relationships across the team, become a trusted "go to" person for office and administrative support, and be confidently managing your core responsibilities day-to-day - while continuing to develop and take on more as part of the team. As a growing organisation there will be opportunities to learn and grow and take on further responsibilities for the right candidate.
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent IT skills with good knowledge of MS Office packages, especially Outlook; familiarity with tools such as Affinity, Notion and Navan would be an advantage.
- Approachable, efficient and well-organised, with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Willingness to think on your feet, use your initiative and take ownership of tasks with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Excellent organisational skills - able to prioritise, multitask and make decisions under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate confidently.
