Senior Process Engineer Dry Etch What you will do

You will be an active member of the Fab Engineering Dept under the Dry Etch Process Team. Drive the etch process development in several projects and report accordingly. Guide and comprehend the interactions between the etch and other process steps. Bringing critical etch processes to the required maturity level to enable low volume production. Being and acting as dry etch tool owner including safety, quality, cycle time, cost and sustainability. Thinking ahead and participating in the definition of the Fab Engineering roadmap. Drive CIP (Continuous Improvement Project) to optimize quality and speed in production lines.

Who you are

You obtained a Master’s degree or PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or equal by experience and display strong engineering skills and mindset. You have at least 5 years of experience in semiconductor industry including dry etch processes. You like to take ownership, you are well organized, with a good attention to detail and you set high standards for quality. As you will work in cross functional teams, strong communication and reporting skills are required. You are a team player with a strong drive to share your experience and knowledge with colleagues. You strive to document and report your work to highest quality standards. You are able to adapt to changing priorities. You have a methodical and insightful approach to problem diagnosis and resolution. Given the international character of imec, fluency in English is a must.
