The impact that you will be making

• Build and own key features for Native Android applications, with mobile as the primary focus.
• Design reliable offline-first experiences for intermittent, slow, or restricted connectivity.
• Partner with Backend engineers on API contracts, synchronization, data models, and error handling.
• Own mobile quality across performance, reliability, usability, and device compatibility.
• Contribute to web frontend development and reusable frontend patterns.
• Participate in architecture and technical decisions across Mobile and Web.
• Write high-quality, testable code and contribute to unit, integration, and UI automation.
• Support UAT, phased rollouts, production validation, and releases.

What lands you in this role

Must have

• 4-7 years of hands-on software development experience, with strong expertise in Native Android and good experience with web frontend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin/Java, Android SDK, Jetpack, lifecycle management, background processing, and modern Android development.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture, including MVVM/MVI, modularization, dependency injection, state management, and clean architecture.
• Experience building offline-first Android applications, including local persistence, synchronization, conflict resolution, retries, eventual consistency, and unreliable network handling.
• Experience with REST/gRPC APIs and mobile-backend integration.
• Strong understanding of Android performance and reliability, including startup time, memory/CPU usage, rendering, ANRs, battery, and network efficiency.
• Good experience with React and TypeScript, including responsive web applications, component architecture, state management, and API integration.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and web performance.
• Strong understanding of Git, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills across the mobile and API layers.
• Ability to collaborate with Product, Backend, QA, Architecture, and UX teams.

Good to have

• Jetpack Compose, Room, WorkManager, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Next.js or similar modern web technologies.
• Experience with mobile CI/CD, Firebase, GCP, crash monitoring, and performance monitoring.
• Experience handling large datasets, high-SKU environments, and low-bandwidth networks.
• Experience in retail, logistics, field-service, or enterprise applications.
