Backend Engineer

As an SDE-2 you are expected to be proactive and hands-on. When something breaks, you dive in, understand the system, and help fix it. You will design, build, and own backend features end-to-end, ensuring quality, reliability, and maintainability. Inamo builds backend systems that run core logistics operations across warehouses and last-mile delivery. Our focus is on scalable, reliable, and event-driven systems that solve real operational problems.

Responsibilities:

• You'll work on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Last Mile Systems (LMS), Rider Lifecycle, Operations Platforms, and Multi-Tenant SaaS Infrastructure.
• Build and maintain backend services using Node.js .
• Design and implement APIs and internal services.
• Participate in system and database design discussions.
• Debug and resolve production issues.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and reliability.
• Work closely with senior engineers on complex systems.
• Own feature delivery from development to deployment.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of backend development experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Node.js and REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Comfortable working on production systems.
• Proactive mindset when issues occur.
• Ability to execute features independently.
• Willingness to learn system design and architecture.
