Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Implement and code embedded software modules (C/Bare Metal) for motor control systems, strictly adhering to coding guidelines (e.g., MISRA C) and safety standards (ISO 26262)
• Assist in translating system-level requirements into software tasks, writing clear code comments, and contributing to technical documentation within the V-Model process
• Create UML diagrams (e.g., using PlantUML) to document state machines, sequences, and component interfaces as part of the design handover process
• Write and execute unit tests using automated testing frameworks to ensure code coverage and quality; assist in maintaining the IDE and building environments
• Collaborate with the team in cross-functional meetings (Hardware, System Engineering, Validation) to understand system behavior and report bugs effectively

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A

  university degree inComputer Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable course of study

• 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded software design and software development
• Programming skills in C; initial programming experience with Python for test automation is

  a plus

• Have

  an interest in thefunction and potential of microcontrollers

• Experience working with oscilloscopes and embedded software tracing tools
• Be

  ateam player with a passion for developing new and creative ideas

• Fluency in written and spoken German and English
