Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Own overall Test Engineering budget planning, monitoring, and control, including IBIS, MSP, and Automation.
- Define, monitor, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to budget fulfilment, cost targets, spare parts, and operating supplies inventory, supporting site-level targets for OEE, yield, cycle time, and quality.
- Manage spare parts inventory using standardized SAP definitions and min/max inventory parameters.
- Coordinate spare parts ordering in collaboration with the Material Controller.
- Manage RMA parts sent to and returned from vendors, ensuring effective status tracking and timely closure.
- Serve as the technical contact for vendors, driving equipment and material improvements and resolving technical issues.
- Identify second-source opportunities and execute qualification activities for alternative parts, equipment, and suppliers.
- Drive new product and equipment ramp-up, including establishing and ensuring production capability and readiness.
- Perform data analysis using appropriate statistical tools to identify trends and deviations, implement corrective actions, and revalidate results.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Test Engineering, Test Development, Test Technology & Innovation, Planning, Quality, and Business Units to resolve production technical issues and drive improvements.
- Support systematic Preventive Maintenance (PM) and ensure compliance with PM requirements to maintain equipment safety, high availability, and reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance overall segment performance in productivity (NLoP) and quality (NLoZD).
Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience with 3 years of relevant backend test experience within the semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of final test processes, Product Engineering, semiconductor Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), and test handling equipment.
- Experience in budget planning, monitoring, and cost control.
- Strong expertise in data analysis, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and monitor test cell performance KPIs.
- Experience or knowledge in Artificial Intelligence (AI) will be an added advantage.
- Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global and multicultural stakeholders.
