Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor DevOps engineers.
  • Define DevOps strategy, standards, and best practices.
  • Design and manage production Kubernetes clusters on bare metal/on-premise environments.
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, ArgoCD, Flux, and Tekton.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Build monitoring and observability platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, EFK/Loki, and Jaeger.
  • Implement security controls including RBAC, Vault, Trivy, OPA/Kyverno, and Falco.
  • Design backup and disaster recovery solutions using Velero.
  • Manage service mesh and networking technologies such as Istio, Cilium, MetalLB, and NGINX.
  • Manage Kubernetes storage solutions including Rook-Ceph, OpenEBS, and Longhorn.
  • Handle incident management, RCA, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and SOC 2 standards.
  • Define DevOps KPIs, SLAs, SLOs, and reliability metrics.
