Informa Markets Latam operates throughout Latin America through offices in São Paulo and Mexico City, organizing and delivering more than 30 hybrid events, 70 digital events, 15 content channels, and news portals, generating connections and business opportunities in over 20 market sectors.

The Product Manager (PM) is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and empowering Product Managers (PMs), defining and implementing processes, standards, and best practices, and fostering the development of the product team. The SrPM will act as a key driver of product excellence, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision while enabling the team to deliver impactful solutions. This role combines strategic thinking, operational efficiency, and team leadership to elevate the product function across the organization.

Your mission will be lead the product organization by establishing robust processes, frameworks, and standards that enable Product Managers to thrive. The SrPM will focus on developing the team’s capabilities, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality products, and driving innovation across the product lifecycle. This role also involves defining strategic priorities, mentoring PMs, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Act as a mentor and coach for Product Managers, providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their skills and performance.

  • Develop and implement training programs, workshops, and resources to foster professional growth within the product team.

  • Build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the product organization.

  • Define and implement standardized processes, frameworks, and best practices for product discovery, development, and delivery.

  • Establish clear guidelines for product ceremonies (e.g., discoveries, ideation sessions, roadmap planning, backlog prioritization) to ensure consistency and efficiency.

  • Periodically review and refine workflows to improve team productivity and product outcomes.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align product strategies with business goals and market opportunities.

  • Lead the definition of KPIs and metrics to measure product success and team performance.

  • Drive the prioritization of initiatives across the product portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between product, engineering, marketing, sales, and other departments.

  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment by clearly articulating product vision, strategy, and progress.

  • Represent the product team in executive meetings, providing updates and insights on product performance and opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to challenge and disrupt the business, always seeking the next big idea.

  • Lead market research, user interviews, and competitive analysis to uncover new opportunities and refine existing products.

  • Drive experimentation and innovation through MVPs, pilots, and iterative development.

What You Need for this Position

  • Relevant experience in product management, including leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of mentoring and developing high-performing product teams.
  • Strong ability to define and implement processes, frameworks, and standards for product management.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience navigating trade-offs to deliver quality products on predictable timelines.
  • Proficiency in tools like Jira, Asana, or similar project management software.
  • Strong analytical skills and aptitude for data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
  • Sharp attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of product management.
  • Availability for in-person work at fairs and events throughout the year.
