SOFTWARE ENGINEER
The Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and scalable application solutions
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Develop responsive web applications using React.js and Nextjs.
Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
Design and implement Microservices and RESTful APIs.
Develop event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.
Design, develop, and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
¢« Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on AWS.
Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development practices.
Troubleshoot, test, optimize, and maintain applications.
Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and project teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience in React.js & Next.js, Java & Spring Boot, Microservices & RESTful APIs, Apache Kafka Event-
Driven Architecture , PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud, Git/GitHub
Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
Experience in unit and integration testing.
Good understanding of JWT/OAuth 2.0, authentication, authorization, and RBAC.
Knowledge of secure coding principles and OWASP practices.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
ADDED ADVANTAGE
Experience in EdTech, Higher Education, or University environments.
Experience with Student Management Systems, Learning Management Systems (LMS), Academic Management
Systems, or University ERP solutions.
Understanding of academic or education technology platforms.
