  • Coordinate test environments, test data, schedules, dependencies, and business participation for assigned efforts.
  • Communicate testing status, results, unresolved defects, risks, and release-readiness observations to project stakeholders.
  • Support release validation, production implementation, and post-deployment verification activities.
  • Apply and promote established QA standards, processes, procedures, documentation templates, and best practices.
  • Identify functional, integration, regression, API, and other repeatable tests that are appropriate candidates for automation.
  • Design, implement, execute, and maintain automated tests using approved tools, frameworks, and standards.
  • Partner with Application Developers and other technology resources to troubleshoot automated test failures and improve automation reliability and coverage.
  • Incorporate automated tests into application delivery and continuous integration processes where appropriate.
  • Monitor defect trends and testing results to identify opportunities for process and quality improvement.
  • Participate in root-cause analysis of production defects and recommend preventive or corrective actions.
  • Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to less experienced QA resources when requested.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable QA resource for assigned applications, projects, or business processes.
