What you’ll do:
Join us as a Business Development Manager - IBM, where your passion for engagement and enablement will set you apart. Your mission: to ignite sales opportunities and cultivate a vibrant partner ecosystem for IBM Solutions in New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, enable and activate new IBM resellers
- Drive Cloud business growth among traditional IBM Resellers
- Secure new business within Hyperscaler Cloud marketplaces
- Collaborate with IBM's Channel & Account teams
- Cultivate profitable Partner relationships with key stakeholders
- Partner with Ingram’s dedicated IBM Marketing Executive to promote IBM solutions
- Work with Ingram’s IBM team to deliver on market growth expectations
- Empower channel partners to maximise sales potential
- Build and maintain pipeline coverage to meet revenue objectives
What we’re looking for:
- A ‘can do’ attitude and passion for forging new engagements
- Proven sales experience; preferably in an IT-related channel environment
- A motivated hunter ready to pursue success
- Strong influencer with established relationships in the IT channel community
- Superior interpersonal skills and strategic vision
- Strong ‘sales hygiene’ skills
- Autonomy and tactical acumen
- Strategic planning capability
