About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tech Lead to lead the development team delivering modern digital experiences and technology solutions for global clients. This role combines technical leadership, engineering excellence, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight.

The Tech Lead will serve as the primary technical owner for a portfolio of projects, working closely with product, design, engineering, internal and/or external stakeholders across geographies. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering leader who can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, guide development teams, drive delivery excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor developers, and contribute to the adoption of emerging technologies including AI-enabled solutions and modern cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

• Lead the implementation of digital products and customer-facing experiences across channels - web, email, banner, IVAs.
• Partner with product, UX, and creative teams to translate business requirements and design concepts into scalable technical solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to developers and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high standards of quality, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth and continuous learning.
• Drive technical decision-making and provide guidance on solution approaches, trade-offs, and implementation strategies.
• Identify opportunities for platform improvements, automation, and innovation.

Delivery Leadership

• Lead sprint planning, estimation, prioritization, and execution activities.
• Partner with project and delivery managers to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Monitor delivery progress, manage risks, and proactively resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, QA, DevOps, and production support teams.
• Ensure delivery commitments are met while maintaining quality and engineering standards.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for business stakeholders.
• Communicate technical concepts, delivery status, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Facilitate collaboration across globally distributed teams.
• Participate in solution discussions, technical workshops, and project planning activities.

Engineering Excellence & Platform Ownership

• Champion modern software engineering practices, including CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and DevOps principles.
• Support cloud-native development and deployment practices across AWS and/or Azure environments.
• Drive adoption of effective branching strategies, release management processes, and development workflows.
• Ensure development environments, deployment pipelines, and operational processes are efficient and scalable.

Innovation & Emerging Technologies

• Contribute to the design and implementation of AI-enabled applications, intelligent workflows, and automation solutions.
• Evaluate and adopt modern development tools, AI coding assistants, and productivity-enhancing technologies.
• Support rapid prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and innovation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in software engineering, web application development, or technology delivery.
• 3+ years of experience in a Technical Lead, Lead Engineer, or Engineering Leadership role.
• Proven experience leading distributed or globally aligned engineering teams.
• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Next.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Experience collaborating with design teams using Figma and translating designs into production-ready solutions.
• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with Git-based version control and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and sprint-based development.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools, LLM-based applications, or workflow automation platforms.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in digital marketing platforms, customer experience solutions, or content-driven web applications.
• Experience working with enterprise clients in a consulting, agency, or professional services environment.
• Exposure to headless CMS platforms, composable architectures, or modern digital experience platforms.
• Relevant cloud or technology certifications are a plus.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations.
