SDE II - Agentic AI

ESG: ERP Engineering is part of the Enterprise Systems solutions. The role helps to automate processes and minimise the manual intervention of the users in the Finance systems.

Responsibilities:

• Acts as an independent senior engineer, leveraging extensive experience to address complex problem statements with industry best practices.
• This role involves analysing intricate issues, designing robust solutions, and ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous learning and mentorship, particularly in emerging technologies such as Agentic AI and Copilot Studio.
• This includes staying updated with the latest advancements, experimenting with new tools, and guiding team members through the adoption of these technologies.
• Exhibits excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering a cohesive team environment.
• This entails effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating productive discussions, and working closely with team members to achieve common objectives.
• Design, build, and deploy building LLM-powered applications, chatbots, and multi-agent systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in finance processes (invoice processing, expense categorisation, reconciliation, etc. ).
• Implement and customise GenAI and multi-agent systems using AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, n8n, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Create, refine, and maintain prompt templates, chains, and workflows.
• Integrate vector databases (MilvusDB, FAISS, Pinecone, Chroma, etc. ) for semantic search and memory.
• Develop backend services and APIs to support AI models in production.
• Ensure model explainability, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with finance policies.
• Continuously monitor, evaluate, and retrain models to ensure sustained performance.
• Closely collaborate with senior engineers to optimise inference costs and system efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Business, Engineering) to deliver end-to-end AI solutions.
• Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies and recommend relevant innovations for the finance domain.
• Participate in design reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in software development with hands-on experience in Python, SQL, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Experience building LLM-powered systems, prompt design, RAG, vector search, and fine-tuning pipelines.
• Experience building Agentic frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, n8n or ReACT-style agents.
• Hands-on experience building REST APIs, microservices, or backend systems.
• Experience with Model Context Protocols (MCPs) building or integrating MCP tools, servers, or capabilities.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, Docker and containerization.
• Good understanding of data pipelines, APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure/GCP/AWS).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work in agile environments.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with finance systems (ERP, reconciliation, forecasting tools) is a strong plus.
• Experience in deploying AI solutions in production for finance or enterprise domains.
• Exposure to finance or enterprise systems such as SAP, Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO), Oracle, or Salesforce.
• Knowledge of compliance, data security, and audit requirements in financial systems.
