Building a new company in the recession of 2007 was no ordinary task. Yet with passion and foresight, we charted our course, helping to transform the way consumers engage with their phones. Over the last 17 years, InMobi has built a global Advertising Platform that powers our customers’ growth by helping them engage their audiences and drive real connections.

What is the team like?
InMobi's Supply and Monetization Platform is one of the world's leading ad serving platforms serving 260bn ad requests a day and handling 2.5+ billion users. Our products help advertisers serve ads optimally, optimize relevance of ads to make the advertiser maximize his ROI, and monitor progress of different advertising campaigns. We handle 7M qps peak traffic for serving ads in milliseconds and manage 2 petabyte-scale data to match the pace of advertising
What Will You Be Doing?

Responsibilities
Platform Reliability & Operations
Ensure availability, stability, observability, and scalability of the data platform. Own production issue resolution, RCA, and continuous improvements.
Architecture & Feature Development
Lead design and delivery of platform features. Make informed choices across modern data architecture and distributed systems
Performance & Cost Efficiency
Implement best practices for performance engineering , resource optimization and lean and efficient data pipelines. Drive cost efficiency through FinOps-aligned design and observability.
Platform Thinking & Governance
Treat platform as a product-balance usability, governance, and adoption. Define and track KPIs for usage, performance, and cost.
Code Excellence & Engineering Discipline
Write modular, testable, and maintainable code. Build CI/CD pipelines, structured logging, and enable observability and debugging by design.
Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate across teams, own stakeholder communication, drive sprint execution, and contribute to documentation. Mentor engineers and influence best practices.
What Do We Expect From You?

Experience & Skills
7-10 years in distributed systems /data engineering. Proficient in Java, Spark, Python, Shell, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform, observability tools, and Linux-based systems.
Cloud & Data Ecosystem
Hands-on with Azure/GCP/AWS, modern orchestration tools, data formats (Parquet, Delta, Iceberg), and compute engines (Databricks, Clickhouse, Trino).
System Design & Optimization
Design scalable, fault-tolerant systems with efficient storage, caching, and cost control. Experience with model serving frameworks is a plus.
Governance & Reliability
Apply data access policies, SLA/SLO tracking, and schema evolution best practices. Enable monitoring, auditing, and incident management.
Leadership & Ownership
Take initiative, prioritize business impact, mentor team members, and drive accountability in delivery and technical decision-making.
