Principal AI Developer
Role Overview
Insight is seeking a Principal AI/ML Engineer to provide technical leadership across the design, development, deployment, and continuous improvement of enterprise-grade artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
The role works closely with data scientists, software engineers, cloud engineers, architects, product teams, and senior stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into scalable, secure, and measurable AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of scalable AI and machine learning solutions, from discovery and experimentation through production deployment and continuous improvement.
Define and govern AI/ML architecture, engineering standards, and technical best practices.
Design, build, and optimize machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI solutions.
Drive MLOps adoption, including CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, observability, optimization, and lifecycle management.
Translate business and product requirements into practical AI-driven solutions that deliver measurable value.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, design reviews, and knowledge sharing for engineering teams.
Lead technical discovery, proof-of-concepts, and architecture assessments.
Embed responsible AI, governance, documentation, transparency, and compliance throughout the delivery lifecycle.
Evaluate emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and industry trends for potential adoption.
Required Experience
Extensive experience delivering AI and machine learning solutions in production environments.
Strong Python expertise with at least 7 years of professional experience.
At least 3 years of experience working with artificial intelligence technologies.
Experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Scikit-learn.
Deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and Generative AI.
Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Strong knowledge of MLOps, CI/CD, testing, and software engineering best practices.
Proven experience leading technical teams and influencing architecture decisions.
Additional Details
Hybrid role based at the Abu Dhabi headquarters.
