Head of AI

Requirements:

• You have 5 or more years as an ML Engineer. Not a generalist engineer who has touched ML a specialist who has made model quality their primary responsibility.
• You have trained and fine-tuned LLMs/transformers. You have gone beyond making API calls to a hosted model.
• You have worked with raw data, cleaned and structured it for training, built the pipelines to feed it into a model, run experiments, tracked what worked and what didn't, and shipped the result to production where real users depended on it.
• You have worked with voice and speech at a model level, not just used a speech-to-text API, but understood what goes into building or fine-tuning a model that converts spoken audio to text accurately in a specific domain.
• You know what it takes to adapt a general-purpose speech recognition model to a particular accent, vocabulary, or context; for example, Indian English speakers discussing medical or emotional topics.
• You have similar working knowledge of voice synthesis, the process of generating natural-sounding speech from text, and what levers exist to customize tone, pacing, and naturalness. You are current on the frontier.
• You know what is happening with voice models, multimodal systems, reinforcement learning from human feedback, and synthetic data generation. You read the research and you can distinguish between what is production-ready and what is a demo.
