Position Overview

This position is responsible for supporting the smooth operation of engineering teams, preparing mission-critical equipment and materials, maintaining engineering laboratories, and promoting a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and inventory management skills, and a friendly, flexible work ethic aligned with customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases regularly.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely restocking with procurement teams.
  • Implement 5S principles for efficient materials storage and workspace organization.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely repair or replacement of equipment.
  • Support preventative maintenance and calibration of engineering equipment.
  • Coordinate logistics for equipment deployment and relocation.
  • Promote a safe working environment and ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Maintain workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Accurately document accumulated knowledge and procedures for future reference and training.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
  • Demonstrates expertise in arranging, maintaining, and optimizing physical workspaces, tools, and materials for maximum efficiency and accessibility.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Friendly and adaptable work ethic with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to follow established procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Basic analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with engineering equipment (e.g., lab instruments, testing devices).
  • Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel) and technical documentation.
  • Workplace safety training and commitment to safety protocols.
  • Basic understanding of Android & iOS operating systems.
  • Knowledge and interest in utilization of AI tools such as Copilot and Rovo to assist in tasks and documentation.

Education and Experience

  • High School diploma/GED and 2+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree/Vocational Technical School diploma with focus on related field and 1+ years of relevant experience
  • Six Sigma certification or related continuous improvement training is preferred, but not required

Additional responsibilities and skills

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Basic understanding of Android & iOS Operating Systems

  • The position is 100% Onsite in our Acton Headquarters Location.

  • Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business needs.

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $20.23 - $30.34 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
