TheSr Supervisor, Maintenance Operationswill lead ateam of maintenance/machine techniciansto supportthebusiness objectives ofInsulet’smanufacturingplantlocatedin Irvine, CA.This position willbe the owner of the plant’s equipment and facility maintenanceprogramsin addition to beingan integral part of the plant’s safety committee.
Responsibilities
Owns andexecutepreventative and breakdown maintenanceoperationsfor production equipment such thatperformancesmeet or exceedbaseline capabilities.
Ensure all facilities preventative maintenance(s) are scheduled. Is site point person for coordination with Insulet Facilities - Site contact for subcontractors, repairs, etc.
Managesa team of maintenance technicians including but not limited to setting daily priorities, establishing responsibilities, performance evaluations, professional development, ensuring production coverage during absence requests, etc.
Participate as needed in a hands-on capacity with preventative and breakdown maintenance operations.
Support equipment and facilityupgradeswith both hands-on support and allocation of managed resources.
Drive continuous improvement ofsafety programs,maintenance programs, troubleshootingprocess,and machine performance.
Ensurespare inventory for allequipmentis sufficient for production requirements.
Participate as a member of the Safety Committee. Ownselect/assignedsafety programsand take an active role inensuringcompliance with OSHA regulations,accident prevention, accident investigation, safety training, andcompliance with environmental rules and regulations.
Creating and/or maintaining documentation related to areas of responsibility.
Responsible for developing acohesivehigh-performing team. Builds team culture and sets expectations on performance and behaviors. Partners with various centers of expertise on strategies promoting positive work environment.

Advanced mechanical aptitude, technical ability, andproblem solvingskills, ability to read and understand technical drawings and manuals.

Education and Experience
Associate degree in engineering(or related discipline) and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
5+ years ofexperience with maintenance, repair, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment and building facilities.
3+ years of management experience.

Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $83,500.00 - $125,200.00 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
