We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join our mission: to become the best insurance AI shop in the world.

What you’ll do here:
- Use advanced machine learning and statistics to build pioneering solutions for tangible customer and business problems.
- Play a key role in influencing the AI roadmap for the largest property and casualty insurer in Canada.
- Transform complex data into meaningful conclusions and deploy predictive models using our modern tech stack
- Enjoy the freedom to explore and integrate new technologies into our solutions.
- Share your expertise, mentor interns and fellow engineers, and champion a data-driven culture across the organization.
- Achieve all of this while maintaining a healthy, genuine work-life balance.
What you bring to the table:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, AI, Computer Science). An MSc or PhD is a strong asset.
- Proven track record in predictive modeling, machine learning, and advanced statistics to solve business challenges.
- Strong programming skills in Scikit-learn, Xgboost, Pytorch, Tensorflow, LightGBM, Pandas, Numpy.
- Unlimited curiosity, a passion for challenging the status quo, and the ability to tackle vaguely defined problems with a creative approach.
- Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
