Our team develops the Intel® C/C++/DPC++ and Fortran Compilers and is a major contributor to the LLVM open-source ecosystem. We continuously innovate to deliver highly optimized compiler technologies for Intel CPU and GPU platforms, enabling developers worldwide to build faster and more efficient applications.

What You'll Do

As a Compiler Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing compiler technologies that drive performance across Intel platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining compiler software components.
• Implementing new compiler features and resolving complex software defects.
• Analyzing real-world applications and industry benchmarks to identify optimization opportunities.
• Improving the performance and efficiency of compiler-generated code for Intel CPU architectures.
• Conducting functional, performance, and stress testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Collaborating with global engineering, validation, and performance teams to deliver high-quality compiler solutions.
• Working closely with hardware architects and software teams to enable new processor capabilities.
• Contributing to open-source compiler technologies and industry standards initiatives.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Informatics, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of professional experience developing software in C/C++.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and data structures.
• Experience optimizing software for CPU performance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively drive technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with vectorization technologies and parallel programming models such as OpenMP.
• Experience with compiler development, particularly LLVM-based compiler frameworks.
• Experience working with assemblers, linkers, and low-level system software.
• Strong understanding of CPU architecture and compiler optimization techniques.
• Experience with code generation and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with performance analysis and profiling tools such as perf or similar technologies.

We offer a total compensation package that ranks among the best in the industry.

Annual Salary Range for this job which could be performed in Poland is: 124 520,00 zł - zł360,720.00 The compensation range displayed in this posting reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for this position. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education, training. As part of our total compensation approach, the final offer may include additional pay components and benefits. Your recruiting team will share the confirmed base salary along with any applicable total compensation elements upon employment offer delivery.

Work Model for this Role
