Hardware focused roles:
Physical design team-Physical layout,designand verification

AI Applications team-Evaluate Neural networkuse cases
Software focused roles:
Complier team-Developing an optimised compiler toolchain for the IP to deliver inference performancethough theOpenVinotool kit-->Intel® Distribution of OpenVINO™ Toolkit
Dev Ops-IT andOperational services
NPU Software -Developing software drivers and firmware for the IP
Pre-SiliconSimulation team-IP Modelsandintegrating themintovirtual platforms.
Mixed SW/HW roles:
Emulationteam-Developing andvalidatepre siliconmodels on FPGA and emulationplatforms.
Design Automation-Infrastructure and automation

Specific technical activities will vary depending per team, with all internships working on our currentcutting-edgeNPU neural processor technology portfolio. A strongproblem-solvingmindset is needed to resolve issues in flows, in designs, in testcases, toolsets etc.
Qualifications:
The candidate must be currently doing a Level 8 or Level 9 college course in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, ComputerScienceor an equivalent course.
You must also be available for six to eight months in 2027 with a preferred starting date between January and June.

The minimum Annual Salary for this job which could be performed in Ireland is: €31,400.00 The job posting reflects the minimum base compensation for this role. Our standard internship rates are aligned with the specific job role and degree level.
