DLT Solution Architect

Join our team to drive innovative projects at the intersection of AI and Emerging Technologies, with a focus on Capital Markets. As a Solutions Architect, you'll play a key technical leadership role, designing and guiding the implementation of advanced solutions such as tokenization, distributed ledger technologies (DLT) and smart contracts. Your work will help streamline operations, elevate customer experiences, and accelerate the organization’s digital transformation.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business stakeholders, delivery managers, and other teams to translate business requirements into DLT-based technical solutions. Ensure that the architectural vision aligns with business objectives and user needs.
• Work closely with sales teams and potential clients to understand their technical requirements and business goals. Translate these into architectural designs for tokenization platforms, settlement and custody flows, and ledger network topologies that form the basis of the solution proposal.
• Serve as a technical authority on DLT during the presales process, advising clients on platform selection (public vs. private vs. permissioned networks), privacy models, interoperability, and the business impact of these choices. Answer technical questions and concerns raised by clients, helping to build trust and confidence in the proposed solution.
• Collaborate with sales and project management teams to develop detailed proposals that include technical specifications, project timelines, and cost estimates. Ensure the proposed architecture is feasible, scalable, and meets the client’s expectations.
• Identify opportunities to combine DLT solutions with AI capabilities (e.g., LLM-based automation, analytics, compliance monitoring) to add value to client platforms.

Technical skills

Must Have:

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent technical experience
• 10+ years of experience as Solution Architect, including 5+ years designing and delivering DLT or blockchain solutions in production
• Proven hands-on experience with distributed ledger frameworks and networks (e.g., Hyperledger Besu, Canton, Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains, Corda, Hyperledger Fabric)
• Deep understanding of DLT architecture: consensus mechanisms, node and network topology, privacy and confidentiality models, key management and custody, and interoperability and cross-chain integration
• Proficiency in Java with hands-on experience building and deploying complex systems, including integrating ledgers with enterprise and legacy systems
• Deep understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., microservices, serverless, event-driven) and frameworks. Ability to choose the most appropriate pattern based on project requirements and constraints.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), including deploying and operating ledger nodes and networks. Knowledge of cloud-specific services, deployment models, and best practices for scalability, availability, and security.
• Strong experience with smart contract development and design (e.g., Solidity, Daml), including token standards (e.g., ERC-20, ERC-1400, ERC-3643) and secure contract design patterns
• Advanced knowledge of security principles, data protection, and compliance standards relevant to software architecture. Experience designing secure systems that meet regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, MiCA, and financial-sector regulation).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), and the ability to integrate automated testing (including smart contract testing and audits), deployment, and monitoring into the software development lifecycle.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in capital markets or digital asset projects (e.g., tokenized securities, funds, bonds, stablecoins, or CBDC) is a plus.
• Experience in AI projects, namely LLMs and ML techniques, is a plus.
• Contributions to open-source DLT projects or recognized certifications in blockchain technologies are a plus.

Soft skills:

• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain complex DLT concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple customer prospects and projects simultaneously.
• Proven people management and leadership abilities.
