You will own day-to-day leadership of the DevOps / System Engineering team, ensuring predictable delivery and operational stability. You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps Engineers while managing workload and capacity.

O que vais fazer

• Own day-to-day leadership of the DevOps / System Engineering team, ensuring predictable delivery and operational stability
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps Engineers, including hiring, onboarding, conducting 1-on-1s, performance reviews, and supporting career growth
• Own end-to-end delivery for the DevOps team, ensuring timely execution, effective planning, task prioritization, and optimal resource allocation
• Manage the team’s workload, capacity, and delivery commitments while proactively identifying and removing blockers
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with Software Development, QA, Release Management, Security, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth software delivery
• Drive effective communication between technical teams and business stakeholders, managing dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
• Monitor team performance, delivery KPIs, and operational SLAs, providing regular status updates and reports to the Head of Infrastructure
• Continuously improve team processes, workflows, and delivery efficiency by implementing best practices and operational improvements

O que é pedido

• 5+ years of overall experience in DevOps Engineering, Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, or IT Operations
• At least 3 years in a leadership role
• Proven experience managing a team of DevOps/Infrastructure engineers, including hiring, mentoring, performance reviews, and career development
• Strong experience in delivery management rather than hands-on engineering
• Experience planning and tracking delivery, prioritizing work, managing team capacity, removing blockers, and ensuring timely execution
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and align multiple stakeholders
• Good conceptual understanding of: AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, GitOps
• English
