We are looking for an experienced Release Engineer who will take ownership of release planning, delivery coordination, and CI/CD process improvements, working closely with Development, QA, and DevOps teams.
Your responsibilities
Manage end-to-end software release activities.
Create and maintain release plans and schedules.
Define, improve, and enforce release management processes and best practices.
Coordinate release-related activities across engineering teams.
Automate and optimize the software release process.
Monitor and report release quality and code quality KPIs.
Define strategies for generating, storing, and maintaining build artifacts.
Contribute to Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery pipelines.
Optimize build systems together with DevOps and CI teams.
Coordinate release activities across multiple projects and Release Managers.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Release Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
Extensive knowledge of Git and version control workflows.
Experience with static code analysis tools.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and engineering best practices.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Experience with Jira and Confluence.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Upper-Intermediate (B2+) English.
Nice to have
Experience in the Automotive industry.
Knowledge of Automotive Software Development Life Cycle standards.
Experience with Location-Based Services.
