Legal Counsel (m/f/d) Compliance

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel Compliance to support and further develop our compliance framework in a dynamic international environment. This role combines compliance, contract law, and emerging topics such as EU AI Act compliance.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as contact for compliance-related matters across the organization

• Support the implementation of legal and internal compliance requirements, including the EU AI Act

• Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks

• Advise business stakeholders on compliance, governance, and regulatory matters

• Review, draft, and negotiate contracts

• Collaborate with IT, Information Security, Procurement, HR, Finance, and external partners

• Maintain and continuously improve the Compliance Management System (CMS)

• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs

• Support whistleblowing processes and internal investigations

Requirements

Your profile

• University degree in Law or an equivalent legal qualification

• Several years of professional experience in Legal & Compliance

• Experience gained in a law firm and/or international corporate environment

• Excellent German and English communication skills

• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style

• High level of initiative, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills

• Proficient in German and English

• Located within commuting distance of Düsseldorf
