(Intertek-PSI) team in theGreater Denver Area in our Westminster, Colorado office. Professional Service Industries, Inc. (Intertek-PSI) is a leading US based provider of construction assurance, testing and inspection in civil and commercial construction. Our broad service offering includes construction materials testing, geotechnical services, environmental engineering, industrial hygiene, and specialty testing.
What are we looking for?
The Engineering Field Technician I is responsible for performing a variety of testing, project specific observations and site assessment duties under general supervision and/or from detailed controlled procedures.
Salary & Benefits Information
The base wage or salary range for this position is $20 - $30/hr depending on experience level. Individual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

What you’ll do:
- Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (example: Soil, concrete or other) and provide assessment of data through reporting
- Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams
- Use specific methods and perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and give limited interpretation of results
- Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
- Some experience in the construction industry
- Valid driver’s license and reliable driving record
- Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
- Ability to lift, move, push and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; Occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in sound
- Ability to kneel and squat occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions, including hot and cold temperatures
- Ability to climb occasionally, and work at various heights
Preferred Requirements & Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous construction materials testing experience
- Certifications including ACI, ICC, PTI, WAQTC, etc.
