Technical Project Manager

Bally’s Intralot provides lottery, iLottery, sports betting and digital gaming technology and services to regulated gaming organizations across North America and international markets. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing technology projects involving software applications, systems integration, infrastructure, testing, releases and operational readiness.

This role works closely with customer stakeholders, Intralot Canada teams, global technology teams and third-party partners to ensure technical projects are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered in accordance with agreed requirements, timelines and commitments.

The Technical Project Manager develops and maintains project plans, monitors technical activities and dependencies, coordinates project resources, manages risks and issues, and provides clear visibility into project status and upcoming milestones.

The position requires a strong understanding of enterprise technology delivery combined with practical project management experience and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Project Management

• Manage technology projects from planning through delivery, release and transition to operations.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverables.

• Coordinate project activities across software development, infrastructure, systems integration, testing and operational teams.

• Track project scope, schedules, resources, dependencies and technical deliverables.

• Monitor progress against project plans and identify potential schedule or delivery impacts.

• Coordinate technical resources and activities across local and global teams.

• Ensure project requirements, priorities and deliverables are clearly understood by participating teams.

• Manage changes to project scope, timelines and dependencies in coordination with appropriate stakeholders.

• Maintain project documentation and ensure key decisions, actions and commitments are recorded and followed through.

• Provide regular project status updates to management and customer stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

• 8+ years of experience in technical project management, technology delivery, systems integration or related roles.

• Demonstrated experience managing complex enterprise technology projects.

• Strong experience developing and managing project plans, schedules, milestones and dependencies.

• Experience coordinating software development, systems integration, infrastructure, testing and production activities.

• Experience working with geographically distributed and global technology teams.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple technical workstreams and competing priorities.

• Experience working directly with customers and senior stakeholders.

• Strong project risk, issue and dependency management capabilities.

• Experience with Agile, Waterfall and/or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Project Management certification such as PMP or equivalent is preferred.

• Experience with Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar project management and tracking tools is preferred.

• Experience working in regulated, high-availability or transaction-intensive technology environments is an asset.

• Experience in lottery, gaming or related industries is considered an asset.
