The team you will be part of

Our Tech Team is the engine behind our digital capabilities - designing and building the platforms, tools, and systems that power our services across the eCommerce ecosystem. From automation to optimization to data integration, the team turns complex challenges into seamless solutions, enabling scale, speed, and smarter decision-making. The team operates across multiple product domains - MarTech, Data-as-a-Service, and Social Commerce - each with its own suite of internal tools and external-facing applications. All products are built on a common shared infrastructure and benefit from a collaborative engineering culture where knowledge-sharing, code standards, and continuous learning are central to how we work.

The part you will play

You will build our Social Commerce Intelligence Platform - an affiliate and creator management product for brands running affiliate programs on TikTok Shop, Shopee, Lazada and other SEA platforms - end to end, from the Vue 3 screens to the Go services behind them.

Brand teams use it to discover creators across marketplaces, build and manage their own creator network, import and reconcile creator lists, enrich profiles with contact and performance data, and track GMV, commission and content ROI per creator and per campaign. It is a multi-tenant SaaS: brand × country, 6 markets, targeted at 5,000 concurrent users.

This is a from-scratch product on a fresh monorepo, not maintenance of a legacy codebase. You will own features vertically - OpenAPI contract, Go domain service, async worker, Vue screens, tests - rather than being handed tickets for one layer. And you will do it with coding agents as your primary implementation tool: our workflow is spec-driven and agent-driven, with humans reviewing evidence rather than typing every line.

What you will take charge of

Full-stack product delivery - Main scope

• Work with the Product team to turn business requirements into clear specs - challenge assumptions, propose alternatives, and agree on scope before you build.
• Work with the Design team to lock the design before implementation: review flows and screens, flag what the design system already covers, raise edge cases and states early, and sign off on what gets built.
• Build Vue 3 SPA screens (Composition API, TypeScript, Vite, Pinia, TanStack Query) on top of our internal design system - Discover, My Network, Imports, Creator Detail, Settings.
• Build the Go services behind them: Gin HTTP handlers generated from OpenAPI, domain services with constructor injection, sqlc-based repositories, RabbitMQ consumers and scheduled jobs.
• Work contract-first: the OpenAPI spec and event JSON Schemas are the source of truth; Go server stubs and the TypeScript client are both generated from them, and CI fails on stale codegen.
• Design multi-tenant data access - every query scoped by tenant, Elasticsearch as the read model for creator search and faceting, MySQL as source of truth, synced through an outbox and RabbitMQ.
• Own the non-functional side of what you ship: p95 latency budgets, pagination bounds, async exports and imports, idempotent consumers, structured logs and metrics.

Engineering with coding agents - Main scope

• Implement day to day with Claude Code, and design screens with Claude Design.
• Keep the agent setup living with the system - rules, skills and guardrails stay in sync as the codebase changes.
• Own what the agent produces: you review it, you are accountable for it.

Quality, review and craft - Main scope

• Write tests that hold: unit tests on domain logic, integration tests against real MySQL / Redis / RabbitMQ / Elasticsearch containers, contract tests against the spec, Playwright for critical flows.
• Review teammates' and agents' code, contribute to coding standards, and raise the bar for whoever joins after you.

AI features in the product

• Ship user-facing AI features on top of LLM APIs - creator search in natural language, profile and content summarisation, campaign and creator recommendations, agent-callable actions on the app itself.
• Handle the practical side of LLM integration: prompt versioning, structured output, streaming, retries, evaluation and cost tracking.

Data and crawling integration

• Work with our crawler and data teams to turn raw marketplace and social data into the canonical creator profiles and daily metrics the product reads.
• Where the platform has no Open API, help design and consume crawling pipelines: event contracts, normalisation, deduplication and matching, freshness and quality monitoring.

Requirements

• 3+ years building and shipping production web products, with real ownership of both a frontend and a backend codebase (not "I touched the API once").

• Vue 3 - strong: Composition API and , TypeScript, Vite, Pinia, Vue Router, a server-state library (TanStack Query or similar). You know why component state, server cache and URL state are three different things.
• Golang - strong: idiomatic Go, goroutines and channels, context propagation, interfaces and dependency injection, error handling, table-driven tests. Gin or an equivalent HTTP framework in production.
• Databases: MySQL schema design, indexing and query optimisation; comfortable writing SQL by hand (we use sqlc, not an ORM). Redis for caching and rate limiting. Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production - mapping design, filtering and faceting, cursor pagination, re-indexing; you know when a query belongs in the search index and not in MySQL.
• Async systems: RabbitMQ or Kafka in production - exchanges and routing, consumer retries, dead-letter queues, idempotency.
• API design: REST with OpenAPI as a contract, versioning and backward compatibility, code generation on both ends.
• Testing: you write tests before or alongside the code, and can explain what belongs in a unit test versus an integration test versus an E2E test.
• Coding agents - fluent, daily, in production work. This is a hard requirement, not a bonus. You should be able to walk us through:

• Which agent you use and how you structure a task for it - spec, constraints, acceptance criteria, test first.
• How you keep it inside the rails - repo rules files, custom commands or skills, guard hooks, scoped file permissions.
• How you review its output, and a concrete case where you caught something it got wrong.
• Where you deliberately do not use it, and why.

• Docker and a working understanding of CI/CD (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions or similar); able to debug your own service in Kubernetes.
• Working English - you will read and write specs, ADRs and PR reviews in English with regional colleagues.

Nice to have

• Domain - strong plus: affiliate or creator marketing, TikTok Shop affiliate / TikTok Shop Partner ecosystem, influencer CRM, livestream commerce, marketplace seller tooling, or e-commerce analytics. Knowing what GMV, commission rate, sample seeding, open collaboration and creator tiers actually mean saves us months of translation.
• AI / LLM integration - plus: shipped features on top of OpenAI / Gemini / Claude APIs; RAG, embeddings and vector search; structured output and function calling; prompt versioning and evaluation; cost and latency management. We expect AI features in this product and want someone who can propose them, not just implement them.
• Crawling / data extraction - plus: large-scale scraping and API harvesting, headless browsers, anti-bot and rate-limit handling, proxy rotation, schema drift, deduplication and entity matching. Much of our creator data comes from crawling before an official API exists.
• Vector search: embeddings, kNN or pgvector, hybrid ranking for natural-language creator search.
• Design systems: consuming a component library as a versioned package, design tokens, accessibility basics.
• Kubernetes, Helm, observability: Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, structured logging.
• Python for data, scripting or ML tooling.

Soft skills

• Ownership: you take a feature from unclear requirement to running in production, and you notice when it breaks before the client does.
• Structured thinker: you break ambiguous asks into concrete decisions, write the trade-offs down, and are happy to be argued out of them.
• Healthy scepticism: fast with agents, but never trusting output you have not read. You can tell the difference between code that compiles and code that is correct.
• Collaborative: comfortable working with Product, BI, data and other engineering teams; you ask the business why before you build.
• Pragmatic about scope: you would rather ship a correct slice this sprint than a perfect architecture next quarter.
