Primary Function

Intuitive is building a new AI-powered platform to support how our teams work day to day - combining a modern web application, cloud-native backend services, and generative AI to make information easier to find, questions easier to answer, and repetitive work easier to automate.

We're looking for a mid-level full-stack engineer who can take ownership of features end-to-end, contribute to architectural decisions with guidance, and collaborate closely with business teams to ship real, production-grade software. You're past the basics and ready to take on meaningful scope - while still growing into senior-level independence.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain both the frontend and backend of a new internal platform, from feature development through production
• Build and maintain integrations between the platform and its underlying cloud and AI infrastructure
• Partner with business teams to translate day-to-day workflows into working software, with some guidance from senior engineers
• Implement secure authentication, access control, and data governance appropriate for sensitive business data
• Contribute to and follow engineering best practices - testing, CI/CD, deployment, and observability
• Iterate on features based on real usage and feedback, balancing speed with reliability

Skill/Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, with hands-on exposure to both frontend and backend systems
• Solid Python skills; experience with FastAPI or a comparable async Python web framework
• Solid React + TypeScript experience - shipped features in a production environment
• Familiarity with LLM/AI API integrations - agentic or tool-calling patterns are a plus
• Experience with a major cloud provider (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP considered) - comfortable deploying and managing cloud resources

• Strong foundational knowledge of SQL query writing with a proven ability to understand and optimize database performance.

• Working knowledge of OAuth 2.0 / OIDC authentication flows
• Ability to work with non-technical business stakeholders to clarify and shape requirements
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
