Senior Web/Mobile Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer who can turn ideas and product goals into high-quality software across web and mobile platforms.

Our current UI stack includes React, React Native, and Angular, but we are deliberately not hiring for one specific framework. You may come from one of those ecosystems, or from Flutter, native iOS/Android, or another modern application development background.

What matters most is your ability to reason about problems, learn unfamiliar technologies quickly, choose the right tools for the job, and deliver great user experiences.

We work in an AI-enabled engineering environment, so we are looking for someone who knows how to use AI tools effectively — not simply for code completion, but to explore solutions, learn new platforms, prototype quickly, debug problems, and move from a goal to a working product.

Strong logical and abstract thinking is one of the most important qualities for this role.

What You'll Do

• Own problems, not just tickets: Take product goals and turn them into practical technical solutions.

• Build across our UI stack: Work with React, React Native, Angular, and other technologies when they are the right fit for the problem.

• Use AI as an engineering tool: Use AI to accelerate research, implementation, debugging, prototyping, testing, and learning.

• Move between technologies when needed: Become productive in unfamiliar frameworks, libraries, APIs, or platforms without being constrained by your existing stack.

• Craft excellent user interfaces: Build polished, intuitive, responsive interfaces with strong attention to interaction details and user experience.

• Make good architectural decisions: Break complex problems into understandable abstractions and choose solutions with appropriate trade-offs.

• Take features from idea to production: Contribute throughout the lifecycle, including implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.

• Collaborate across the stack: Work with APIs and backend services when required to deliver complete product features.

• Raise the engineering bar: Share knowledge, improve development practices, and help the team find better ways to build software.

What We're Looking For

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience shipping production applications.

• Excellent logical, analytical, and abstract thinking skills.

• Ability to understand an unfamiliar problem, decompose it, and independently work toward a solution.

• Strong experience in at least one modern application development ecosystem, ideally including React, React Native, or Angular.

• Experience in Flutter, native iOS, native Android, or another comparable web/mobile platform is also highly relevant.

• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies rather than being attached to a particular framework.

• Strong understanding of application architecture, state management, APIs, asynchronous systems, and testing.

• Experience creating high-quality user interfaces, with attention to usability, visual polish, responsiveness, and interaction design.

• Practical experience using modern AI-assisted development tools as part of your engineering workflow.

• Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, or comparable programming-language fundamentals.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership from an ambiguous problem through to a finished result.

How We Think About AI

AI is becoming part of how software is built.

We don't measure engineers by how much code they can type manually. We care about whether they can understand a problem, reason about possible solutions, use the tools available to them, validate the result, and deliver something that works well.

You should be comfortable using different AI tools and models where they are useful — whether that means exploring an unfamiliar API, generating a prototype, understanding an existing codebase, debugging an issue, evaluating approaches, or accelerating implementation.

The important skill is knowing what you are trying to achieve and being able to judge whether the result is actually good.

Nice to Have

• Experience working across both web and mobile products.

• Experience with more than one of React, React Native, and Angular.

• Full-stack experience with APIs, databases, distributed systems, or backend TypeScript.

• Experience establishing CI/CD and automated testing workflows.

• Product or UX sensibility beyond pure implementation.

• Experience rapidly prototyping new product ideas.

• Experience integrating native platform capabilities.

• .NET experience.

• RxJS or functional programming experience.

We have a strong engineering team and currently build user interfaces with React, React Native, and Angular.

We are looking for engineers who are comfortable operating beyond the boundaries of a single technology stack. The ideal person can understand a goal, reason about the problem, learn whatever is necessary, and use modern tools — including AI — to deliver a high-quality result.
