Mid-Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Mid-Senior Backend Engineer (.NET) to join a core application development team, with a primary focus on backend development while also contributing to front-end development when needed.

In this role, you will work with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core, developing and maintaining enterprise applications, APIs, and integrations while collaborating closely with engineers, Functional Analysts, and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
• Design and implement REST APIs and integration services with external systems
• Collaborate with engineers and Functional Analysts to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Develop clean, maintainable, and reliable application code
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and QA processes
• Troubleshoot issues and support bug fixing
• Optimize and improve existing application code
• Work with relational databases and data-driven applications
• Contribute to front-end development activities when required
• Collaborate effectively with development, QA, and business teams throughout the development lifecycle

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core
• Good knowledge of designing and consuming REST APIs
• Experience with relational databases, preferably SQL Server or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies
• Experience with collaboration and development tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
• Experience with code reviews, unit testing, and software quality practices
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Ability to work collaboratively within a development team and meet defined timelines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous experience in a banking or fintech environment
