Join IONATE, a deep tech scale-up focused on transforming power systems. As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the development, design, implementation, and testing of electronics circuits and systems. You will contribute to high-power converter and controller development, design and test electronic hardware, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team. A degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering or equivalent is required, along with experience in electronics design, circuit modeling, and testing.
Missions
- Contribuir al desarrollo de convertidores de alta potencia y controladores para aplicaciones conectadas a la red.
- Diseñar, simular, implementar, probar, verificar y solucionar problemas del hardware electrónico, circuitos y componentes utilizados para convertidores de potencia.
- Participar activamente en el desarrollo técnico y las pruebas en un equipo multidisciplinario, incluyendo diseñadores de electrónica de potencia, ingenieros mecánicos, ingenieros de control y software.
Profil recherché
- Experience in electronics design, ideally in high power applications- Communication skills enabling you to work with various teams across the globe
- Experience conducting laboratory and site-based testing using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, load banks etc
- Experience in electronics circuit modelling and simulation
- Experience using tools including SPICE, Altium, MATLAB
- Degree in Electrical and Electronics engineering or equivalent

- Good understanding of signal processing and passive/active filter designs
- Design, Modelling & Simulation
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally when required for testing/commissioning (up 10% annually)
- Testing & Validation
- Good understanding of electronic and electrical components and their principles
- Design experience for low noise, mixed signal systems
- An understanding of best practices related to thermomechanical design
- Experience in power electronics converters (AC/DC, DC/AC, DC/DC)
- Testing experience working with voltages up to 1kV
- Experience designing systems to meet EMC/EMI standards and testing commercially ready systems for UL/TUV certification
- Experience designing systems fit for large scale manufacturing and production
